Description and Introduction
The Students' Union of Presidency University as of now is at its most fundamental level. It is necessarily a platform for the general students to make their opinions and grievances heard and catered to,be it regarding educational drawbacks, cultural activities, social issues or political standpoints etc. The Union stands for the purpose of accumulating opinions and grievances from every nook and corner of the university and solving it out with the respected authorities.
This gives rise to the need for General Body Meetings, which are conducted with the objective of making sure that the functioning of the Union is based upon inclusive decision making, being open to the students of Presidency University, of, by and for whom the Union was brought to existence.
The Union, in addition to all these daily functional activities, has traditionally been, and must always be, non-partisan in its ideals.
