PRESI portraits

The very mention of Presidency draws to mind tales of stunning triumphs and shattering tragedies, of clear-eyed idealism and revolutionary fervor, of academic achievement and intellectual trailblazing. That, combined with newspaper headlines both hopeful and ominous, seem to create a forbidding picture of our university to anyone outside it. To most of us, though, Presidency means thing and one thing only : - home. And what often doesn't get enough attention amidst the media spectacle and the Chinese whispers is the humanity which characterises Presidency at its best, and which is its greatest redeeming feature. Presi Portraits is an attempt to capture Presidency beyond the headlines, through its people. We decided to go around the college talking to students, teachers and non-teaching staff, and asked them to summarise their Presi experience in a word or a phrase. This is our love letter to Presidency. (*Note: Due to logistical difficulties and deadline crunches, we could not upload all the pictures that we wanted to at first try. We'll keep updating this gallery as we go on )
